If I Didn't Have a Gun How often do you hear on the TV news or read on the local internet of a death by gun? Do you think our police force is nervous? Sitting in your patrol car you are not safe. Making a traffic stop you are not safe. Sitting on your front porch you are not safe. As a child attending school you are not safe. In a movie theatre you are not safe. On a college campus you are not safe. Shopping at a mall you are not safe. This is not about 2nd amendment. This is about gun control. This is about NRA lobbyist. This is about money. Stop the proliferation of guns in the hands of criminals and psychotics.
that's a very noble idea but what it would mean in reality is that only the criminals would have guns and law abiding citizens who wont get guns illegally would be unarmed and vulnerable.
I really think that what you said is true della, if you take the guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens, then the criminal element will have them, and they will get them through the biggest black market this country has ever seen.

I think you guys are not thinking OUT of the BOX. Why does gun control mean that only criminals will have guns? That is the same thinking that puts guns in the hands of criminals. Law abiding citizens should have guns. Intelligent gun control keeps guns in the hands of law abiding citizens. Without gun control the nut-cases CAN BUY GUNS. I can't believe you SMART people don't get that concept.
That is nice in theory. The truth is, there is no such thing as intelligent gun control. Gun control leads to one thing, the elimination of guns. That is why conservatives don't want any. Look at California, Illinois, New Jersey and New York. Is that intelligent gun control? Nope, that's getting rid of guns period. Its basically impossible to get a CCP in any of these states. That's the end game of all gun control.
Its black and white. Either guns or no guns. I choose guns.
And the funny thing is when you see so called blue dog liberals in conservative states saying that some gun control is good. Trying to be hip while staying pro gun. They don't understand what the end game is. They need to live in a liberal state to understand what the end game of gun control is.
