German police have arrested a man for involvement in a shooting in which a 32-year-old man died on Saturday in the border town of Alsdorf, near Kerkrade. The victim is said to be a member of the Red Devils, a support club of the Hells Angels that is also active in Limburg. The suspected weapon has also been found.
The 32-year-old victim was shot on Saturday evening on the Ãœbacher Weg in Alsdorf (near Aachen) after an argument between several people and died in hospital from his injuries. The German police are investigating whether there may be a personal conflict or violence between outlaw motorcycle clubs.
A shooting also took place in Hückelhoven (about 25 km from Alsdorf) on Sunday evening. Two people were seriously injured. The German police are looking for three suspects. The motive is still unclear.
In recent years there have been a feud between motorcycle clubs Bandidos and Red Devils.
