Didn't Chicago in the Nitti/Ricca era kill someone in a bowling alley and then leave a creepy poem on the corpse, sort of taking credit? I believe the new regime offed Jack McGurn this way. It struck me that it was more of something you would see on Criminal Minds than a mob hit.

Here it is. "The killers tossed a Valentine card with this ironically prophetic poem near to his body: "You've lost your job, you've lost your dough, Your jewels and cars and handsome houses, But things could still be worse you know... At least you haven't lost your trousers!"

Very unsettling. I would not want to operate in Outfit territory during their peak years. Too many corpses. Killers were very dedicated!
