The police in Catania seized five real estate assets for a value of about 350 thousand euros from the boss Alfio Santangelo.

Santangelo, 67 years old, called 'U' taccuni ', is considered the head of the homonymous mafia clan, an articulation of the Santapaola-Ercolano clan, which operates in Adrano, Paternò and Biancavilla.

According to the accusation, the boss, although detained in prison for long periods, would have continued to give orders and criminal strategies to the associates, always maintaining command of the group.
