Customs at Mexico City International Airport seized 95 liters of liquid methamphetamine on Monday. The shipment was on its way to the Netherlands.

The catch was made during a routine inspection by Mexican Navy personnel with a pair of sniffer dogs. The meth was hidden in 119 lamps. The navy is widely used in the fight against drugs in Mexico because it is one of the least corruption-affected government organizations.

In Mexico, drug organizations produce meth, most of which is smuggled into the United States. In addition, those networks smuggle a lot of raw materials for meth (ephedrine) to the US.

In recent years, crystal meth has also been made in illegal laboratories in the Netherlands.
