The Public Prosecutor’s Office of Caltanissetta, in the Italian region of Sicily, on Friday asked for life imprisonment for the fugitive leader of Cosa Nostra, Matteo Messina Denaro, accused of being one of those responsible for the attacks that killed the judges. Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, in 1992.

In particular Borsellino, because the magistrate was the one who had written the arrest warrant against his father, Francesco Messina Denaro.
