I've read D'Arco's book and i know what you're talking about but to me it doesn't make sense. There were a lot of weird things happening that day but i doubt the Lucchese would hit D'Arco that way, in a hotel room where the main capos of the family have been all day as well as the acting boss of another family. I don't think that was the right circumstances.

That's just my opinion but as far as i know it has never been confirmed that D'Arco was indeed going to be hit that day.
