OM: Conversations are additional proof of the murder of lawyer

According to the prosecutors, there are more indications in conversations between suspects Giermo B. (36) and Moreno B. (31) among themselves and between, for example, girlfriends that they have carried out and prepared the murder of lawyer Derk Wiersum, Het Parool said .

Eavesdropping equipment
On Wednesday there was a hearing in the case before the court in Amsterdam.

The lawyer of the crown witness Nabil B. was murdered on September 18, 2019 in Amsterdam-Buitenveldert. Justice has concluded from the conversations that the intention was to shoot Wiersum earlier, for example on 9, 11 or 16 September.

According to the judiciary, Moreno B. was the shooter and Giermo B. the driver. The detective secretly placed eavesdropping equipment in the car of Moreno M. and his girlfriend. Giermo B. was then arrested.

Be safe
In the late evening of September 8, his girlfriend sent Giermo B. a message: 'be safe' and 'as you leave, you will come back'. According to the judiciary, such messages fit in with the idea that the murder plan was being mutually veiled. The girlfriend says that Moreno has to 'puke' every time it is about the lawyer's murder on television.

The two suspects would have observed several times in a Volkswagen Transporter and an Opel Combo Wiersum. Moreno B. is also said to have contacted Wiersum five times, possibly to register as a client. He sent him his business card by text message from abroad on 11 September.
