In a house on the Jan van Duivenvoordestraat in Amsterdam New West, three Colombian men and a woman were arrested on Tuesday. This happened after the police were given 'information' that there was a suspicious situation in two cars.

A sports bag would be transferred from one car to another on the Jan van Duivenvoordestraat in Geuzenveld. Because the agents thought there was a transaction, they decided to intervene around 3 p.m. On the basis of the Opium Act and with the permission of a driver of one of the cars, a house was subsequently searched.

A search of that house resulted in the discovery of a kilo of cocaine, a kilo of MDMA, an amount of about 125,000 euros and a firearm. The agents also stumbled upon a batch of expensive designer clothes, jewelry, packaging materials, pre-folded pony packs and a money counter.

The arrests were made in and around the house. The suspects are men aged 24, 30 and 51 - and a woman aged 21. The investigation is still ongoing.
