The largest mass lynching in the United States happened at the hands of white supremacists in New Orleans against Italians in March 1891 because police believed Sicilians to be responsible for the murder of a cop. And the cops turned around and got people to riot. So, the abuse of cops against any minority has been widespread since the beginning in this country - Native Americans also falling into that category.

As just as a side note...a 35 year old black man was pepper-sprayed to death today at the MDC while in his cell for being "disruptive." You can read it about it right here via the DOJ press release.

And my suggestion for anyone is to stay away from mass media and watch independent videos of what is really going on out there. Police are being violent against peaceful protestors in video after video after video. And not just on the streets but in people's homes trying to enter illegally and what not. It's a scary time.

Most important thing - focus on the issue at hand - George Floyd was murdered and he called out for his mother as he was suffocating to death. Don't distract yourselves from the real issue. The arrest and charging of the four cops involved is a start...not the end. It's happened before and then gets kicked under the rug and nothing changes -- and then the cycle repeats. That's why this is happening now.
