The police raided a trailer camp in Maarheeze in Noord-Brabant on Friday morning at 7 a.m. All trailers and the entire site on the Vinnen are searched. The police started the searches after a tip that several residents would have firearms in their possession.

One hundred officers and employees of the Public Prosecution Service have been deployed in the large-scale operation. In addition, a platoon of the ME is ready and there are detection dogs.

In 2012, five people were arrested in a raid on the camp in Maarheeze and the police found drugs, cannabis plants and firearms.
