In the Brazilian city of Santos, a chief inspector of the local port was liquidated a week ago. Valter Barbosa (55) was murdered in his car in front of his wife on the Régis Bittencourt highway. Large loads of cocaine are transported from the port of Santos to Europe, Africa and Asia. A lot of coke ends up in the Netherlands.

Brazilian authorities are investigating the murder of Barbosa, who was about to become director of infrastructure and logistics for the port of Imbituba, in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina. According to the police report, after the liquidation, the shooters ran off with mobile phones and wallets.
