Tocchet is friends with Joey Merlino, 100% I have seen them together. Tocchet used to hang out at this Sports Bar called Legends in South Philly that was a real hot spot in the 80s and 90s with wiseguys , athletes, and hot broads etc. The NJ State Trooper that ran the day to day of that gambling ring with Tocchet - James Harney was a bartender at Legends before he became a NJ State Trooper. The ring allegedly was under Staino. That’s how Harney, Tocchet, Merlino, and Staino are all linked through that sports bar in South Philly called Legends that’s no longer around.
