Rotterdam criminal reports liquidation attempt at Schiphol. On Wednesday evening, around 19.45 a motorist called the emergency number and reported that he was under fire. There has been a very high-speed chase around Schiphol, through several villages in the Haarlemmermeer.
A source surrounding the investigation said that the man who allegedly had been chased was the Rotterdam criminal Marco E. (27). He is said to have left for Rotterdam from Amsterdam and noticed on the A4 highway that he was being followed. After he ran off full throttle and left the highway, a chase ended near Badhoevedorp. At Oude Meer, according to E., shots were taken with automatic rifles.
The chasing car was a BMW that at one point missed a corner that allowed E. to escape and report to the police.
In Amsterdam, E. would have been suspicious of people hanging around him on the street. There would also have been a delivery van involved.
Marco E. is the son of the notorious Schiedam crime boss Henk E., who has been involved in drug trafficking for many years. Marco and his father appear in several large investigative files of the criminal investigation department, including the Doussie file for cocaine imports, Henk E. was sentenced by the court to 14 years in that case. Marco E. was imprisoned for six years.
