Martha, born in Curaçao, grew up in Amsterdam South . Martha had talent for football and made it to Ajax 's youth academy, and kickboxing. At the age of eighteen, he witnessed his brother Giovanni being shot dead after a brawl. Giovanni's killer was shot and killed in a coffee shop on October 14, 2003, under unexplained circumstances, but Martha was the main suspect.

Martha had already explored the wrong way with street robberies before he was eighteen, but continued a criminal career in which robberies and cocaine trafficking played a major role. In the 90s the group around Martha was due to the aftermath of the IRT corruption affair somewhat left alone and Martha's group became the main drug suppliers in Amsterdam. Martha was convicted of laundering money in 2007. Less than a month later, Martha escaped from prison.

Meanwhile, his gang was not doing well either. There were quite a few deaths among his accomplices, and Martha's group got involved in a bloody feud with a competing crime group. Martha's right hand died in 2012. His murder on October 18, 2012 is related to a missing batch of two hundred kilos of cocaine. The murder sparked yet another series of liquidations, starting with a heavy shooting on December 29, 2012 in the Staatsliedenbuurt. In addition, two young Moroccans were killed in a Landrover and the police were also shot.

Martha died on May 22, 2014 as a result of an attack. More than eighty bullet holes were found in his body. Many of his group later started to work with Rico the Chilean and Ridouan Taghi.
