You make a good point. That’s actually a great observation, guy would be crazy not to align himself with whatever is on the outside, and working with those in positions of influence.

Desjardins did turn on Vito, but actually killed Montagna. I’ve asked around, that doesn’t seem to be forgotten or forgiven either. So, it’s easy to see why people would align with Rizzuto, it’s gotta be someone’s fault, why not blame Desjardins.

Also, heard Desjardins is the one who had the guy in Laval or Muskoka, Khano?? whacked, would that even make sense, do they know each other? If so, he’s still capable.

Also, triggers on Sal Scoppa, were brought in from the otherside, that was instrumental in getting at least the majority of Southern Italians in Montreal/ Quebec to get back to working together, now that is taking hold else where (ie. Toronto/Hamilton).
