Agree strax. The smart bosses know there is not going to be enough cash coming in right now, so they will tell their family to either not have them kick up for awhile or only kick up a faction of what they are supposed to kick up and save as much money as they can, the ones who are greatly effective by the virus anyway, while those are unaffected will still be kicking up. Once the stay at home order is lifted, the boss will order his family to push money onto the streets, cause their is going to be a lot of people who needs money and the legal means is not going to be enough. The Government stimulus is not going to last long, but it will help some of the people to avoid the clutches of the mafia. This is not just related to the Italians, but the other OC groups too. Street gangs? They are going to be hit harder, as narcotics is usually their main bread and butter, but I would not be surprised if their membership doubles or triples after this is over.


Some street gangs might be hit harder than others. There's multiple ways to keep the trafficking active and other activities their involved that isn't reliant on narcotics.
