The Spanish customs, police and Guardia Civil have seized 752 kilograms of methamphetamine. The drugs were ingeniously packaged in marble blocks and shipped from Mexico. Five people were arrested, their nationality was not disclosed.
It is the largest catch of crystal meth ever in Spain. According to the Spanish authorities, the system used to package drugs in blocks of marble has not been shown before. In the marble, cylindrical spaces were cut into which packages of meth in PVC had been inserted. The contents of those spaces could not be made visible with measuring equipment.
