Diana Serra Cary was known as child star Baby Peggy during the silent film era. Only a handful of her films survive, and a couple have been shown on TCM. (Her 1924 version of Captain January predated the Shirley Temple film by 12 years.) Under the name Diana Serra Cary, she became an author and authority on "Old Hollywood" - particularly Westerns. Read The Hollywood Posse. Excellent book.

Also, Hosni Mubarak has died. And Bob Shane and John Simon have also recently passed.

Signor V.

"For me, there's only my wife..."

"Sure I cook with wine - sometimes I even add it to the food!"

"When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies?"

"It was a grass harp... And we listened."

"Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it? Every, every minute?"

"No. Saints and poets, maybe... they do some."
