The police found a large drug lab in Hapert in Noord-Brabant on Wednesday. Large quantities of MDMA (the active substance in xtc) were produced in the lab, accounting for three to three and a half million xtc pills. Two men aged 42 and 48 from Eindhoven were arrested.
The raid on the laboratory was part of a long-standing investigation, the professional lab had a total of four sections: the lab with the boilers, a storage place with chemicals, a room full of freezers to crystallize the substances from the boilers and a mixing room.
