A joint competition for Netherlands and Belgium is taking increasingly serious forms. In the coming months, a concrete proposal will be worked out for the new BeNeLiga to be formed. Representatives of eleven clubs in the Netherlands and Belgium, the two unions and the Eredivisie CV decided this on Thursday in Eindhoven. Ajax, Feyenoord, PSV, FC Utrecht, Vitesse, and AZ Alkmaar are involve in this initiative on behalf of the Netherlands. From Belgium AA Gent, Club Brugge, KRC Genk, Anderlecht and Standard Luik lead the way.
