Yep the Americans (DEA) also played a role in this. There are fears we will now see a powerstruggle similar to when Rizzuto and El Chapo went away.
I don't think this will happen. Taghi was probably just one-of-the-many. Only LE was focusing on him because they connected a lot of brazen actions to his name.
There's plenty of big fish operating behind the scenes on who Taghi's actions didn't have any effect and they will just carry on operating like they did - until of course LE finds another big target to hit.
