I made a thread a few years ago about Persico and Carlo Gambino's relationship; I think they rarely saw eachother unless I'm wrong?? Persico was in and out of jail...
If they were close; You kind of alluded to their relationship being off the Albert Anastasia hit; which Persico was rumored to be involved in. I have no idea who got rid of Albert Anastasia at that barbershop....
By the way; How was Persico as boss operating in 77-79?? Was he respected by the other family leaders?? Corallo; Castellano; Galante/Rastelli and Salerno/Lombardo?
Read something; Galante and Persico were close and wanted two of their children to marry.
