Just looked at a few short videos of VLADTV featuring the new interview with Micheal Franzese.
Two things of note;
Is it true that Carmine Persico asked Micheal Franzese in jail to be Acting Boss during the commission trial and keep the seat warm until Little Allie Boy Persico got out??? Think Mike told Persico he couldn't be acting boss because he was taking a plea around that time. Carmine then told Mike; instead he'll name Vic Orena as Acting boss then....
Apparently Micheal Franzese and Vic Orena didn't like eachother. Orena appearently wanted a piece of the gas scam with John Gotti; and was undermining Mike. He was not trusted in the family.
There was something with the Colombo boys and Sonny’s boys and nephews and others against the Persico’s rise just like it was for the Persico’s toward the Colombo’s boys and Sonny’s .
The all had a good chance of rising and Colombo got hit and the Colombo’ boys were pushed around by Persico’s and when Sonny was away Persico’s did same if not for Michael F stated doing wellthey would not of been anything other then Sonny’s notoriety .
But the three families were very much at odds and has all to do with Orena not liking that part of the crime family.
