i read that the worldwide production of coke was about 900 tonnes in 2014 (peru the biggest producer with about 350 tonnes), is it really 2000 nowadays in just 5 years?
Colombia’s cocaine production went up 19%, from 772 metric tons to 921 metric tons in 2017, though other estimates put the potential production much higher.
Add Peru's and Bolivia's production and it will be indeed close to 2000 tonnes.
The Mexicans have now also begun to produce it themselves and they have moved into Brazil's Amazon and are producing cocaine deep in the rainforest.
