The 'ndrangheta axis between Canada and Siderno, closed investigations for 20 people: names and photos

The magistrates of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Reggio Calabria have closed the investigation against twenty people involved, in various ways, in the maxi-operation called "Canadian 'Ndrangheta Connection" . For eight other people, most of whom are subjects who are abroad and in particular in Canada, the Dda proceeds separately.

The anti-mafia prosecutor's office disputes a series of crimes ranging from participation in a mafia association, to the fictitious entry of assets, to crimes concerning weapons and more.

The articulated and delicate investigation made use of the work of the Sco's investigators and the Anti-Crime Service of the Reggio Calabria Police Headquarters, which focused on what was happening in Siderno in the immediacy of the murder of Carmelo Muià , known as Mino , killed on the evening of 18 January 2018 in the Ionian town.

These are the names of the 20 suspects : Michelangelo Archinà; Domenico Cerisano; Emanuela Figliomeni; Teresa Figliomeni; Bruno Filippone; Francesco Filippone; Cosimo Futia called "Shuster"; Antonio Galea; Marilena Gravina; Giuseppe Gregoraci called "Pino"; Pietro Ieraci; Giuseppe Macrì; Antonio Mamone; Armando Muià; Giuseppe Muià; Vincenzo Muià (cl. 72); Vincenzo Muià (cl. 68); Vincenzo Muià known as "the fontaniere" (October 1969); Vincenzo Muià (November 1969); Santo Rumbo.
