People think you go to school and become a doctor and you're set. From what I've seen, unless you work for a practice or a hospital, doctors are running a business. Most of the residents i talk to at my hospital also get an mba as well. Like everyone else on this thread is saying, the richest people that I know didn't go to college to earn their money. Some may have gone to college to appease their parents, but their business were made by strong work ethic, connections, and being business savvy. A college professor was said, "You don't go to college to get rich. You're here to get a broader knowledge of the world."
