Valerie Harper died today at age 80. She was best known as Mary Tyler Moore's neighbor.

If so, recall that it was on opposite Monday Night Football and was so popular that it gave Football a run for its money especially the Rhoda's Wedding episode. In fact, even Howard Cosell welcomed those viewers back to football who had tuned out to watch the wedding.
