'ndrangheta, murder Caputo, restaurateur killed in Toronto, Johnnie Raposo, Paolo Caputo, Catanzaro, Calabria, Chronicle

The shadow of a transversal revenge . Paolo Caputo, capistranese and owner of the restaurant "Domani" in Toronto, was assassinated on August 16th last: a gunman armed with a gun shot him in front of dozens of witnesses and then escaped. The victim had lived in Ontario for decades. The younger brother, Martino, was nevertheless condemned because he was jointly responsible for the murder of another Italian-Canadian, Johnnie "Maserati" Raposo, riddled with bullets in a "Little Italy" bar in 2012.

The ambush of Raposo could be the cause of Caputo's death? None of the investigators feels to exclude him. The presence of the 'ndrangheta in Canada was, in fact, confirmed by an innovative sentence according to which the Calabrian mafia is fully operating in North America.
