The president of Argentina, Mauricio Macri, was investigated with his father, the late Franco Macri, and the rest of the family, by the famous Italian judge who investigated in depth the Cosa Nostra (Sicilian criminal secret society), Giovanni Falcone. The magistrate arrived in Argentina to conduct research on the powerful business family in 1992 and died shortly after, killed by the mafia.
