11 people were arrested in Messina, 9 in prison and 2 under house arrest, accused of being part of a criminal gang that ran an international cocaine trade between South America and Sicily.

Among those arrested was Ramirez Della Rosa, ex-boyfriend of Marysthel Polanco, one of the so-called "olgettine", the girls who attended the "elegant" dinners organized in their residence in Arcore by former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
