Not my neck of the news but a Philadelphia carjacker was beaten to death. I can't blame the locals as there was three children in the car at the time. High up law enforcement gave a statement of they do not condone that behavior, but the fact is that their were children in the car and people have a strong tendency to protect kids even when they do not belong to them. Most fathers would not engage in helping a lost kid do to fear that someone else would think they are a kidnapper, thus you have those problems, but the bottomline is communities are like families, and even help out strangers sometimes. I feel the police can only question the couple and pretty much nothing will come out of it.
