Castelvetrano, hunt for the accomplices of Messina Denaro.

Yet another police blitz in the night between Castelvetrano, Mazara del Vallo and the villages of the Valle del Belice, for the search for the fugitive mobster Matteo Messina Denaro. In total 130 police officers involved in the maxi operation in Sicily still in progress, belonging to the Mobile Teams of Trapani and Palermo and to the Central Operational Service.

They carried out checks and searches to hit the network of supporters of the fugitive - old mafiosi, professionals, traders - who in the past few years had been suspected of being supporters of the red primula of the Trapani mafia, wanted since June 1993.

Documents and materials defined as interesting were seized in the homes of some of the suspects, 19 in total. Once again it is confirmed that the inaction of the boss Matteo Messina Denaro is covered by subjects belonging to the so-called gray area of ​​Cosa nostra, between professionals, politicians and exponents of Freemasonry, for the names that have emerged so far from the investigations.

Next Sunday, in Castelvetrano, a delegation from the national anti-Mafia commission will arrive, headed by its president, the pentastorked senator Nicola Morra.
