In 1992 Carmine Alfieri attempted to construct a unitary organization, according to Sicilian plan. He named that new organization
“Nuova Mafia Campana” (New Campania Mafia).
According to the Anti-Mafia committee, “The Nuova Mafia was more aspiration than realization”.
