Based on how it was reported it could be assumed that the Gillespie brothers were in a more powerful position than the Lyons and Daniel crews (though there's overlap between Daniel associates and Gillespie guys - Mark Richardson, Martyn Fitzsimmons, etc.) At least they were touted by the press as being the 'most sophisticated' drug trafficking operation in Scotland with international ties until Operation Escalade secured recent convictions and arrest warrants have been issued for the Gillespies
