No house arrest for Giovanni Brusca . For years the mafia collaborator of justice has never apologized to his victims or even to the relatives of the people he killed. The surveillance court of Rome writes this, explaining why it rejected the request for home detention by the lawyers of the former mafia boss of San Giuseppe Jato. Condemned for dozens of murders and massacres, including those of Capaci and Via D'Amelio , and for having kidnapped and killed the small Giuseppe Di Matteo , the son of a repentant, Brusca was arrested in May 1996. Two years later he began to collaborate with magistrates.
