Why so few mourners at Cali's funeral? Does this suggest he'd fallen out of favor with his associates? You'd think a guy with that power would have hundreds of people he'd done business with attending his funeral. Perhaps it was deliberate to avoid more of a spotlight considering the high profile murder case. Interesting nonetheless.
I think it's just a new era, similar to what Joe Massino tried doing years ago, shut down the social clubs, no funerals, don't speak any names....low key. I don't see it as him falling out of favor, I think its just with the circus surrounding the killing it would be better to stay away. Immediate family only. That's my guess. For my own selfish reasons I was hoping everyone would turn out for it as its exciting to see....
