It's hard to believe they would move on Cali without wanting Cefalu out also. He's been the boss for what 8-9 years? and Cefalu is a ghost, who's even seen a recent picture of the guy.
I still say it's Joseph Corozzo, his bother (Nick) and Gene. They are stupid enough and probably figured with Cali gone Cefalu would step down and the three of them would take over, Jo Jo, Nick and Gene.
You forget about Mannino , very powerful member of Sicilian faciton. Taking over is not a theory ,u need to whack a lot of guys to take over, Cali's brother in law too
