NYPD said that shooting was captured on video , suspect is male 25-40 years old. He was having conversation with Cali when he pulled a gun and shot him.
Very well could have been random. Some guy who had a few drinks after a long day at work, runs into and hits Cali's parked car. Words are exchanged and the guy unloads. Seems plausible.
Or it wasn't, and someone made a move, in a sloppy, very public way.
LE has video. This will be solved.
