I believe its a personal thing. The huge fear of Cosa Nostra is gone. I think its some gangster maybe a friend of him or maybe a LCN member who had a beef with him. Maybe someone he tried to extort. Thats what i think, I think the theories you guys have are to much like LCN back in the days.
Huge fear is gone, but killing a high ranked mafia member or anyone that is high up in organized crime, its like you signed your death. So its probably from Italy/Something with Canada.
