Man shot outside Rome nursery school
Victim is in a serious condition, had dropped off children

(ANSA) - Rome, January 10 - A man was shot outside a nursery school in Rome's Magliana district at around 8:50 on Thursday, sources said. The victim had just dropped off his children and gotten into his car when he was shot by an assailant on a scooter, the sources said.
He was hit several times in the head and has been taken to hospital in a serious condition, according to the sources.
The man reportedly has a criminal record.
