Lost completely fell apart after the first season from what I remember. It had the potential to be a lot better than it was.
I can't remember how many episodes of Oz I watched before I threw in the towel but it looked badly made to me. Bad acting and cliched scripting. It probably would have been better if it was made ten years later.
