Hate? That's easy. For me, it seems to have more to do with characters I don't care for rather than the product itself.

If the folks who created this ad campaign were looking to create a truly grating, annoying character, they succeeded beyond their wildest nightmares. He's boring and tiresome and he's seen his day. Time to ditch Middleditch.
