In the Rijnmond area 1,188 kilos of cocaine was seized. This is reported by the Colombian anti-drug police. Eight Dutch people were arrested.

2,500 kilos of cocaine was found on Friday 16 November during a check by Customs on the Maasvlakte, the Public Prosecution Service announced on Tuesday evening. Due to current research, the discovery has only recently been published. The cargo of drugs was placed between melons from Brazil.
