'Godfather' Greg R. (70) arrested
Police response against gang Caloh Wagoh

ROTTERDAM - On Wednesday morning the police started a large-scale operation against the controversial motor club Caloh Wagoh early in the morning. Forty raids have been made in club buildings and homes of members of Caloh Wagoh in, among others, Leiden, Den Hoorn, Mijdrecht and The Hague.

The operation is led by the police The Hague. Hundreds of policemen are involved in the action. Among the detainees in Mijdrecht and Leiden are two leaders of the gang of 48 and 70, who are suspected of participating in a criminal organization.

It would be the 48-year old 'Keylow', former leader of the street gang The Crips. Also Greg R. (70), nicknamed the 'Godfather', was arrested, his lawyer confirms. The latter is one of the most famous criminal leaders in the Netherlands. His son Jesse is a life imprisonment for various underworld murders in the Amsterdam criminal circuit.

The lawyer of Greg R. Nico Meijering confirms his arrest at De Telegraaf. "We are on the way, I can not say anything about it yet."
