A snitch is a snitch no matter how old you get, especially in prison. So was he with general population inmates? If so, it makes sense. I never heard of a known snitch getting a pass for being too old. And if certain authorities had it out for him, all they have to do is let him fall through the cracks with regular inmates. It happens from time to time with child molesters.
