This is one of the greatest movies in American history. Great actors, great director (Reiner), great screenplay (Aaron Sorkin). Easily one of Jack Nicholson's top 5 films. It's really sad that what some people take from this movie is a justification for marines killing one of their own who suffered from mental illness. They've completely missed the bus on this one.
