I'm assuming they have members on the outside and it was to gain power and connections within the prisons and legal/law system

Not to bring Hollywood into this but in the movie Blood in Blood out the Mexican prison gang leader doesn’t want to get into drugs but the others know that the money, power and influence the other gangs would derive from drugs would get them crushed if they didn’t also go after it. So they had their own leader killed.

Yes something like that but my philosophy is each person is motivated by their own greed BUT then again prison is a little different, what other choice did he have - rat and put into 24 hour protective custody for the next 40-50 years. Kind of like the situation of an informer, either go along with it or your life is turned upsides down.

and go fuck yourself Oak. You can't answer my question and instead turned it against me. Typical liberal approach and trust me I've dealt with MANY
