Haven't posted on this Forum in awhile. Anyway, here goes:

Tonight I'm going to make dinner for Alice (my fiancée) and me. I'm making seasoned chicken breast fillets with potatoes (baby ones, probably) and an Irish-inspired whiskey cream sauce (with Jameson Caskmates) with shallots and chopped fresh parsley. I'll see what green veggies look good when I go around the corner to the local supermarket a little later.

After some recent medical issues this past Spring (I now have stents in my coronary arteries), I know I'm feeling a lot more like my old self when I find myself obsessing over my cooking (think Artie from The Sopranos)!

"For me, there's only my wife..."

"Sure I cook with wine - sometimes I even add it to the food!"

"When life itself seems lunatic, who knows where madness lies?"

"It was a grass harp... And we listened."

"Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it? Every, every minute?"

"No. Saints and poets, maybe... they do some."
