I watched the video the other day. I know it's in the job description of the sergeant to be terse when issuing his commands but he seemed a little too pent-up and aggressive to me. The victim was clearly terrified and in a panic. So it's probably not a good idea to say you're going to kill him if he doesn't follow your confusing instructions right to the letter.

It seems like so many of the cops would rather just kill someone and run that risk than even run the slightest risk of getting hurt themselves.
